He was born in Samarinda and earned a Master’s degree in Economics from IPB University, with a research focus on international trade. He completed his undergraduate studies in Sharia Economics at Universitas Airlangga and participated in a one-semester student exchange program at USIM Malaysia. He has experience as a lecturer at IPB University and UIN Samarinda, teaching various courses in both conventional and Islamic economics, and has previously worked as a business analyst at a market research and business consulting company, contributing to projects across a wide range of industries, including mining, banking, and lubricants. He has also authored several writings in the fields of monetary economics and economic development. Currently, he serves as an analyst at BRIEF Indonesia.
